Recycling

We know recycling is important to you.

It’s important to us too. We care about the way we process our rubbish and recycling.

In our restaurant, refectory and cafés we sort our rubbish and our plastic is recycled with a local Essex company called www.GreenRecycling.co.uk. Our plastic goes back into making new plastic or new products.

We believe we (and others) have a responsibility to recycle our plastics because:

• It’s good for the environment;
• It saves natural resources such as oil;
• Our carbon footprint is reduced because it takes less energy to recycle plastics compared with manufacturing new material;
• There’s less waste going to landfill;
• It saves money.
