We offer a range of well-established full-time or part-time courses for young people and adults with learning difficulties and/or disabilities. These courses are designed to help you develop practical, social and life skills.
Areas like health and safety at work, vocational skills and employability are covered to help improve abilities that are needed in the workplace.
The Goldlay Supported Internship was developed in 2018 and is an exciting partnership between Chelmsford College and Essex County Council. The concept was several years in the making and gives young people a real opportunity to experience work in a true to life environment, with the possibility of gaining paid employment at the end of the programme.
Employment and learning is delivered at County Hall, in Chelmsford where young people learn the skills for the job within a work setting and are supported by job coaches and a tutor from the college.
